What an exciting first month of the year this has been! Today I finished the final review of the recording for the audiobook of Flintridge! Now it just has to go through the QC process at ACX and then it will be on the market. Should be online within the month if all goes well!
I have some exciting news: since my muse decided to take a vacation for an indeterminate amount of time, I shifted my focus to getting an audiobook version of both of my novels created. In 3-4 months the audiobook version of Flintridge should be available to the public! (Still working on securing a narrator for Outlaw Wolves, but that will come in time.)
For the last month or so I have been able to focus on one project and the result is that I am ready to share the opening of it with the world! Hop on over to the Works in Progress page to read it! Even though 2020 is slipping by I am hoping to publish it yet this year.
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is nearing an end! The goal is 50k words in a month. With 5 days left to write, I am sitting at 44,653 words. A new novel is being born! This is a step out of the norm for me, it is a thriller surrounding the theft of Shakespeare's skull. Keep an eye out for it in the early part of 2020.
Hello again all. Insanely large gap between updates and I do apologize for that. I've never been good at blogging. Since the last update I have sold Red as well as a second horse named Kai. They just weren't a fit for me, unfortunately. Darby the pheasant passed away at the end of July from unknown neurological issues. I miss my little baby bird, it's so quiet without her around pecking at my legs. The bunnies and Kelty are doing well. I just bought a house and have been in the process of moving for the last 3 weeks so not much writing has gotten done. I am hoping to set aside November for NaNoWriMo this year in hopes of getting another novel completed and ready for editing. Fingers crossed!
Checking in again with NaNoWriMo just around the corner. I am sorry to report that Scout left us on September 7, 2017. He had a good, long life (29.5 years) and I miss him every second of every day. I have welcomed a new equine into my life, a Tennessee Walker named Red. He'll never be my Scouty, but I hope to develop a good relationship with him.
Last minute update: Come find me this weekend (July 15) at Moose Lake's Art in the Park! Details can be found here. My booth will showcase a sneak peek of an upcoming book, unique necklaces, and of course books!
Hello all, sorry for the huge gap in updates! I freshened up the novel pages and added a few more WIP titles (as if I needed more!) I am also re-formatting Flintridge in preparation to release a second edition with more readable font size. Look for it within the next couple of months. I still intend to publish a new book this year!
